Aims and Scope

Journal of Critical and Intensive Care is the scientific and official publication of the Turkish Society of Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Medicine and published three times per year; in April, August and December.

Journal of Critical and Intensive Care is an international electronic periodical based on independent and unbiased peer-review principles and is published both in Turkish and English.

Journal of Critical and Intensive Care is indexed in Web of Science-Emerging Sources Citation Index, TUBITAK ULAKBIM TR Index, EMBASE, Scopus, EMCare, CINAHL, Gale/Cengage Learning, EBSCO, HINARI, ProQuest and Turkiye Citation Index.

Journal of Critical and Intensive Care publishes reviews, case reports, editorials and letters to the editor, and particularly original articles about clinical and basic science research on intensive care, including pediatric intensive care, neurointensive care, intensive care nursing, physiotherapy in intensive care, and acute and emergency medicine.

While reviews are generally written at the invitation of the editorial board. Letters to the editor can be written in response to published articles. Reviews written by specialists on a specific topic can be published as a special issue.

Journal of Critical and Intensive Care is to present and share findings of the studies conducted in intensive care unit, opinions as well as interesting cases. The target group of Journal of Critical and Intensive Care is physicians and healthcare staff at clinical and basic science departments who are interested in intensive care. The full texts of all articles are issued online at (www.dcyogunbakim.org.tr) and are available in PDF format.
